What Is an HQD Vape?
HQD is one of the most recognised disposable vape brands in the Middle East. A disposable vape is an all-in-one device: the battery, coil and pre-filled nicotine-salt e-liquid are sealed together. There is nothing to refill, no coil to change and no settings to learn. You inhale, the device activates, and when the e-liquid runs out you dispose of it responsibly.
HQD built its reputation on three things: consistent flavour, simple operation and a lineup that covers light, moderate and heavy users. That is why searches such as “HQD vape Dubai”, “HQD flavours UAE” and “HQD puffs” keep growing among adult vapers who want a dependable device without the maintenance of a refillable pod system.
This guide walks you through every HQD model available in the UAE, how they differ, which flavours are worth trying, how to use them properly, and how to avoid fake products. All product details below are based on the listings at Tugboat Shop’s HQD category page.

Why HQD Is Popular in Dubai
Dubai is a fast-moving city, and vapers here tend to value convenience above everything else. HQD fits that lifestyle for several reasons.
Zero maintenance. There is no e-liquid to pour and no coil to prime. You can take the device out of the box and use it immediately, which suits beginners and people who travel between emirates.
Wide puff range. HQD offers devices from around 6,000 puffs up to 20,000 puffs, so you can match the device to how often you vape instead of overpaying for capacity you will not use.
Strong flavour range. From icy menthol blends to fruit mixes and tobacco profiles, the flavour list covers the tastes most UAE customers ask for.
Zero-nicotine option. The HQD Miracle 8000 is available in a 0mg version, which is useful for people who enjoy the flavour and ritual of vaping without nicotine.
Easy availability. With same-day delivery inside Dubai and Sharjah from trusted sellers, you do not need to hunt around shops to find a genuine device.

HQD Cuvie Slick Pro 15000: The All-Rounder
If you only read one section of this guide, read this one. The HQD Cuvie Slick Pro 15000 is the model most customers end up choosing, and it is easy to see why.
Key features
- Up to 15,000 puffs of rated capacity
- Rechargeable USB-C battery, so you can top up until the e-liquid is gone
- Mesh coil technology for even heating and cleaner flavour
- Draw-activated: no buttons, no settings
- Nicotine-salt formula for a smooth throat hit
- Compact, ergonomic body that fits a pocket or small bag
Flavours available
At Tugboat Shop the Cuvie Slick Pro 15000 comes in nine flavours:
- Apple Grape – sweet green apple layered over ripe grape
- Black Dragon – a dark, tangy dragon-fruit style blend
- Black Ice – blackcurrant-style berry with a cooling finish
- Cherry Pomegranate – tart cherry with a juicy pomegranate edge
- Cola – a classic fizzy-cola profile
- Lush Ice – watermelon-style sweetness with a strong cool exhale
- Peach Berry – soft peach balanced with mixed berries
- Strawberry Kiwi – bright, sweet-tart fruit duo
- Tobacco – for adult smokers who prefer a traditional taste
Why it works well in the UAE
The Slick Pro sits in the middle of the HQD range. It lasts far longer than a 6,000-puff device, yet it is noticeably smaller and lighter than the 20,000-puff Shisha model. The rechargeable battery also matters in Dubai’s heat and travel-heavy lifestyle: you are not stuck with a dead battery and half a tank of e-liquid.
Pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Long-lasting 15,000-puff rating | Larger than entry-level 6,000-puff devices |
| Rechargeable battery | Non-refillable, so it is disposed of after use |
| Nine flavours, including tobacco | Priced higher than smaller disposables |
| Draw-activated and beginner-friendly | Limited airflow control |

HQD Cuvie Slick 6000: The Easy Starter
The HQD Cuvie Slick 6000 is the entry point into the Cuvie Slick family. With up to 6,000 puffs it suits adults who vape lightly or want to test the brand before committing to a larger device.
It has the widest flavour list of any HQD model on the site, including Black Dragon, Black Ice, Blueberry Raspberry, Cherry Pomegranate, Cola, Desert Breeze, Grapey, Ice Mint, Lime Passion Fruit, Lush Ice, Mango Honeydew Ice, Peach Berry, Pineapple, Strawberry Kiwi, Tobacco and Tobacco Vanilla. If variety matters more than puff count, this is the model to look at.
Choose it if: you want a lower upfront cost, a small device, and the most flavour choice.
HQD Glaze Plus 12000: The Mid-Range Option
The HQD Glaze Plus 12000 sits between the Cuvie Slick 6000 and the Slick Pro 15000. It is aimed at moderate users who want a longer-lasting device without moving to the very large capacities.
The flavour list is focused and fruit-forward: Black Ice, Blackcurrant, Blueberry, Fresh Berries, Grape, Ice Mint, Lush Ice, Mango, Strawberry Banana and Triple Berry. It is available as a single piece or a box of five.
Choose it if: you like fruity and icy profiles and want roughly double the life of a 6,000-puff device.
HQD Miracle 8000 (0mg): Nicotine-Free Vaping
The HQD Miracle 8000 Zero Nicotine Vape is the answer for people who like the flavour experience but do not want nicotine. It offers up to 8,000 puffs of 0mg e-liquid in a compact body with smooth airflow.
Available flavours include Black Dragon, Black Ice, Blueberry Raspberry, Cherry Cola, Cola, Grape, Ice Mint, Lush Ice, Peach Berry, Raspberry Grape, Strawberry Kiwi and Vanilla Tobacco.
Choose it if: you want to cut nicotine, you are cutting back gradually, or you simply enjoy flavours without nicotine. It is not a medical product and should not be presented as a treatment for anything.

HQD Shisha 20000: Built for Heavy Users
The HQD Shisha 20000 is the highest-capacity device in the range, rated up to 20,000 puffs. It is designed around shisha-inspired flavours, which are very popular across Dubai and the wider Gulf.
Flavours include Black Ice, Double Apple, Grape Raspberry, Grapey, Gum Mint, Ice Mint, Lemon Mint, Lush Ice, Mango Ice and Strawberry Kiwi. The Double Apple and Gum Mint options are the closest to a traditional shisha experience.
Choose it if: you vape throughout the day, you prefer shisha-style tastes, and you do not mind a larger device.
How to Choose the Right HQD Vape in Dubai
The simplest way to choose is to match the device to your usage and taste, not to the biggest number on the box.
Step 1: Decide on nicotine
If you want nicotine-free, the Miracle 8000 is the HQD option. If you are a current adult smoker looking for a nicotine-salt device, any of the other four models fits.
Step 2: Estimate your usage
| Your habit | Suggested model |
|---|---|
| Occasional, a few puffs a day | Cuvie Slick 6000 |
| Moderate, regular use through the day | Glaze Plus 12000 or Cuvie Slick Pro 15000 |
| Heavy, frequent use | Cuvie Slick Pro 15000 or Shisha 20000 |
| No nicotine wanted | Miracle 8000 (0mg) |
Step 3: Pick a flavour family
- Fruit and sweet: Peach Berry, Strawberry Kiwi, Blueberry Raspberry, Triple Berry
- Icy and refreshing: Lush Ice, Black Ice, Ice Mint, Mango Ice
- Shisha-style: Double Apple, Grape Raspberry, Gum Mint, Lemon Mint
- Soda and dessert-style: Cola, Cherry Cola, Vanilla Tobacco
- Traditional: Tobacco
Step 4: Decide between single piece and box
Boxes bring the per-unit price down and are useful if you already know your favourite flavour. Singles are ideal for testing. Because the Cuvie Slick Pro 15000 offers a 10-piece box, many regular customers buy a box once they have settled on a flavour, and orders above AED 300 qualify for free delivery on the site.
HQD Flavour Guide: What Each Profile Tastes Like
Flavour is the main reason people choose HQD, so here is a plain-language guide. Descriptions are general and individual taste varies by batch.
Black Ice – A dark, berry-style flavour with a cooling exhale. Good for people who like tart over sweet.
Lush Ice – Sweet, juicy and very cold. One of the most requested flavours across several HQD models.
Peach Berry – A softer, rounder flavour with ripe peach up front and berries behind. Less cooling, more dessert-like.
Strawberry Kiwi – A bright and tangy mix that stays light even on longer sessions.
Cherry Pomegranate – Sweet cherry with a slightly sharp finish. Works well for people who find pure sweet flavours too heavy.
Apple Grape – Smooth and balanced, with a clean fruit taste and little menthol.
Black Dragon – A bolder, deeper fruit profile with a tangy edge.
Cola – A fizzy, soda-style flavour. A good choice if you want something different from standard fruit.
Double Apple – The classic shisha-style blend of sweet and tart apple, available on the Shisha 20000.
Tobacco / Tobacco Vanilla – For adult smokers moving away from cigarettes who want a familiar taste rather than fruit.
If you are unsure where to start, a single Lush Ice or Peach Berry is a safe first pick for most people.
How to Use an HQD Disposable Vape
Using an HQD device is straightforward, but a few habits make it last longer and taste better.
- Unbox and check. Remove packaging and any protective seals. Check the device looks undamaged and the packaging matches the brand.
- Charge if needed. Rechargeable models such as the Cuvie Slick Pro 15000 use a USB-C cable. A short charge before first use is a good idea.
- Inhale to activate. There are no buttons. Take a gentle draw from the mouthpiece.
- Pace yourself. Short, steady puffs give better flavour than rapid chain-vaping.
- Recharge when vapour weakens. On rechargeable models, a weak output usually means the battery needs charging, not that the e-liquid is finished.
- Dispose responsibly. Once empty, dispose of the device through electronic-waste channels where available, not in regular rubbish if you can avoid it.
Tips to get the best performance
- Avoid chain vaping. Continuous puffs can overheat the coil and dull the flavour.
- Store it upright and cool. In UAE summer heat, never leave a vape in a parked car. High temperatures can damage the battery and cause leaks.
- Keep the mouthpiece clean. Wipe it with a dry cloth.
- Do not try to refill or open it. Disposable devices are not designed for this.
Is HQD Better Than Other Disposable Brands?
“Better” depends on what you want. Here is how HQD compares with other popular options stocked at Tugboat Shop.

HQD Vape Troubleshooting: Common Problems and Simple Fixes
Even good devices can seem faulty when the cause is a simple habit. Before you assume the device is defective, run through these checks.
The device does not activate. Make sure the mouthpiece is not blocked and try a slightly firmer draw. On a rechargeable model such as the Cuvie Slick Pro 15000, plug it in for a few minutes, because a flat battery is the most common cause.
Vapour feels weak or the flavour tastes burnt. This is usually caused by chain vaping, which heats the coil faster than the cotton can feed it. Wait 20–30 seconds between long sessions. If the taste is still weak after charging, the e-liquid may be close to finished.
The device gets warm. Mild warmth during charging or heavy use is normal. If it becomes hot to the touch, stop using it, unplug it and let it cool in a shaded place.
Liquid leaks into the mouthpiece. Store the device upright, avoid heat and do not squeeze it. If leaking continues on a new device, contact the seller with a photo.
The flavour seems different from the last one. Small differences between batches are normal. If a flavour tastes completely off, contact support instead of continuing to use it.
Which HQD Gives the Best Value for Money?
Value is not just the price tag. A cheaper device that lasts half as long is not really cheaper. A simple way to compare is to divide the single-piece price by the puff rating.
Using the lowest listed single-piece prices on Tugboat Shop (AED 50 for the Cuvie Slick 6000, AED 45 for the Miracle 8000, AED 50 for the Glaze Plus 12000, AED 55 for the Cuvie Slick Pro 15000 and AED 48 for the Shisha 20000), the larger devices cost clearly less per 1,000 rated puffs than the smaller ones. The Shisha 20000 and the Cuvie Slick Pro 15000 sit at the top for value on paper, while the 6,000-puff model is the most expensive per puff.
That said, rated puffs are a manufacturer estimate, and your own habits matter more. A light user who buys a 20,000-puff device may find the flavour fades or the device sits unused for weeks. For a moderate user, the Cuvie Slick Pro 15000 usually offers the best mix of value, size and flavour variety. Buying a box (for example the 10-piece box of the Slick Pro) lowers the per-unit cost further, and orders above AED 300 qualify for free delivery on the site.
Common Mistakes People Make When Buying HQD in Dubai
- Choosing by puff count alone. Pick the model that matches your habits, not the biggest number.
- Ignoring nicotine content. Check whether a model is 0mg or nicotine-salt before you order.
- Buying from unknown sellers to save a few dirhams. The savings are rarely worth the risk of a fake.
- Leaving the device in a hot car. UAE summer temperatures can damage batteries and cause leaks.
- Chain vaping. It shortens coil life and dulls flavour.
How to Buy a Genuine HQD Vape in Dubai
Counterfeit disposables exist across the region, and they can have unreliable batteries and e-liquid. A few simple checks reduce the risk.
Buy from an established retailer. A seller with a visible address, phone number, WhatsApp support and clear return policy is safer than an anonymous social-media listing.
Check the packaging. Genuine packaging has crisp printing, consistent fonts and correct model names. Spelling mistakes or blurry logos are red flags.
Be careful with prices that look too good. An extremely low price compared with the market usually means a problem.
Check the product page details. Reputable sellers list flavours, puff counts and pack sizes clearly, as the HQD listings at Tugboat Shop do.
Inspect on arrival. Look for damaged seals, leaking liquid or a device that does not activate. If something is wrong, contact the seller straight away.
Tugboat Shop states that its products are 100% authentic and branded, packed securely, with 24/7 support and a free-returns policy if there is an issue. You can also order through the WhatsApp button on each product page.

Responsible Use and Legal Notes
Nicotine is an addictive substance. HQD vapes that contain nicotine are intended only for adults who already use nicotine products. They are not for non-smokers, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or anyone with a heart or respiratory condition unless a doctor has said otherwise. Keep devices away from children and pets.
Tugboat Shop displays an age check for visitors, and sales are only for adults of legal age. Vape regulations in the UAE can change, so you are responsible for following the rules that apply where you live and travel, including the rules on carrying vape products through airports and between emirates. If you are trying to quit nicotine, speak to a healthcare professional about proven support options.
Never claim or assume that a vape is risk-free. The honest position is that vaping is a nicotine product for adult smokers and carries its own risks.
